A fantasy

The idea came from a window display in the 'Drieënhuizen', designed by Marijke van Nieuwenhoven.

I changed the picture of Queen Beatrix in the frame to a younger image.

'The Golden Carriage' with footmen are a great spectacle and fun to paint. It is one of the charming remnants of a time gone, where past and present meet.
